Contributions to The Cottage School scholarship funds provide qualified students with tuition assistance. At this time, TCS maintains four scholarship funds:
The Stephen Bayley Scholarship Fund for Tuition Assistance was established in 1990 in memory of TCS student, Stephen Bayley after his death in 1989. An easy-going young man with a great sense of humor, Stephen pursued his dream of working with cars after leaving TCS. In order to assure that talented and wonderful students like Stephen could benefit from the opportunities provided by The Cottage School, his family established the first scholarship fund for financial aid. Tuition Assistance fundraising efforts such as the annual gala, Glitter, have raised close to $1,000,000 in tuition assistance funds. Your gift to The Stephen Bayley Scholarship Fund for Tuition Assistance will assist The Cottage School in offering families the assistance they need to provide a quality education for their student, and enable us to reach out to more families who cannot enroll their student at TCS without financial aid.
The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund Need-based tuition assistance for Hispanic/Latino students with learning disabilities, ADHD, or socio-emotional issues is available through The Cottage School, with the establishment of The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund. Funded through a $500,000 endowment awarded by The Goizueta Foundation in November, 2006, the Fund enables The Cottage School to broaden its services to Latino families whose children would benefit from TCS’s unique programs, but who are currently unable to attend due to financial circumstances.
