9/4 vs Davis Academy

The middle school soccer team travelled to Davis Academy on Tuesday afternoon, September 4.  The game ended in a 9-7 victory for Davis.  The game was a very fun one to watch and coach ? the teams were quite well matched.  Davis' squad was short a few players, so we played nine vs. nine (as opposed to the regular game of eleven vs. eleven).  The highlights are as follows (all minute marks are approximate):

-minute 2   - score by Davis
-minute 11 - score by TCS - Charlie Johnson
-minute 13 - score by Davis
-minute 14 - score by TCS - Ian Ramey
-minute 18 - score by TCS - Charlie Johnson
-minute 20 - score by Davis
-minute 22 - score by Davis
-minute 27 - score by Davis
-minute 28 - score by TCS - Kent Chambers (off a perfect assist from Charlie Johnson)
-minute 29 - score by TCS - Kent Chambers
-minute 34 - score by TCS - Kent Chambers
-minute 37 - score by Davis
-minute 38 - score by Davis
-minute 45 - score by Davis
-minute 47 - score by TCS - Charlie Johnson
-minute 49 - score by Davis

The middle school team?s future looks bright.  Our offense is strong (especially when it comes to passing), and as we continue to strengthen our defense, the team?s playing will get better and better.  Our next game will be on Thursday, September 6 against The Howard School at East Roswell Park at 4:30 PM.

Thanks to all who were there in person and in spirit!
